Who we are
Legalengineer.dk is a community for lawyers and professionals who want to understand the technology, build concrete solutions and develop the way legal work is produced and delivered.
Our members have different backgrounds, but share the wish to raise the bar for legal engineering in Denmark.

Charter.
The work of lawyers has always changed, whether we are talking about legislation, society or technology.
AI has given lawyers new opportunities to both solve legal tasks and build the tools we use to do it.
People who work professionally with law know the field’s challenges, workflows and important nuances. When we can translate that knowledge into software ourselves, the distance between spotting a problem and testing a solution becomes shorter.
It requires a different mindset than we are used to. It also requires practice, critical judgement and somebody to learn with.
Legalengineer.dk is for lawyers who want to understand the new opportunities AI brings, and share their experiences along the way as we learn together.
Our principles.
- 01 Learning The community is built around learning sessions, where professional presentations form the basis for debate and shared learning. The community is not a platform for advertising.
- 02 Development We start from concrete problems and build solutions that can be tested and used. An unfinished prototype is a good place to begin.
- 03 Feedback We challenge each other’s assumptions and raise our shared level of knowledge through debate on the use of technology within law.
- 04 Confidentiality Conversations and presentations stay in the group. Any publication happens only by express agreement with those who contribute.
